TRANSPORTATION

Transportation volunteers provide rides to seniors and adults with a disability or illness that hinders their driving ability. Our services keeps our clients socially connected, making it possible for them to maintain a higher level of independence.

About

Since 1987, CSS has provided wheelchair accessible transportation services. CSS also coordinates a team of volunteer drivers who use personal vehicles for clients who don’t need a wheelchair accessible vehicle. CSS is committed to providing friendly, safe, and door to door or door-through-door service.

Transportation requests are for non-urgent, pre-planned needs –10 days or more in advance.

"The driver is always polite and on time. He or she helps me get in and out of the vehicle. They get my walker out and put it away. They hold the door for me." (G.B)
